Re: hi all
I think Adam and Clive are the experts here, but I did have both a 55-6 and a 55-3 on test for a while. Re: hi all
Agreed -the T Ceptor Pro 55-3 is the scope to have if you need lots of base magnification.
Definitely better than the Thermion XM50

Agreed, a solution looking for problem.
They put that function just because they could, not because it was needed or useful.

Re: Guide Track IR50 review
Yes it does track the hottest target on the screen.
Frankly it's not a mode or feature I use, since I did not find that it helped to spot or identify potential quarry any better than simple white hot or black hot
Others may feel differently about it.

Guide Track IR50 review
I've had a Guide Track IR50 on loan from Blackwood Outdoors for a couple of weeks so thought I'd share my thoughts on it. This is it https://www.thomasjacks.co.uk/guide_inf ... TrackIR_50 Imported and distributed by Thomas Jacks (just like Pulsar/Yukon) so I don't foresee any major issues with warra...

Re: What spotter do you use?
I think it's some sort of dodgy investment advice for rich Russians who want to hide their money by buying property in warm sunny countries not called Russia.

Re: Hik micro
It's the same as the HIK Vulkan Pro 35mm sold by Optics warehouse for £2699 It's a good spec for the money although the base magnification is pretty low at x1.4 There's no equivalent Pulsar spotter although the Thermion XP38 would have almost the same spec - and the Pulsar costs a lot more Have you ...

Re: What spotter do you use?
Older thermal spotters which have a video output are still worth a bit of money as they can be converted to roof mount spotters with a screen in the vehicle. This method gives a real time image of what the thermal sees without the horrible lag and frequent dropped connection that happens with spotte...
